All final prints and framed works from "Grounded" series were lost in an apartment fire on Dec. 9, 2008. These images lived for a short while around Ohio exhibited with Roy G Biv's IMAGE OHIO, Ohio Art League's Member-Juried Exhibition, Various Madlab exhibitions, Agora exhibition events at Junctionview Studios and a solo show at GRIP TECHNOLOGY. These images were shot on film, scanned and adjusted digitally before final prints were completed. I have decided not to simply reprint from the recovered digital files, in response to my experiences I am taking a reflexive approach to digesting the process of loss. More on that in the coming months.

Images from "Grounded" series included in Roy G Biv's IMAGE OHIO 08 exhibit, (Col, OH) & watch for a solo showing of work from the same series to appear in May at GRIP Technology in Downtown Columbus.

reGROUNDED: a response to collective loss

After losing two years worth of creative work in an apartment fire last winter, I have begun to work on a new approach to dealing with issues of memory and archival practices in our collective personal lives. more info coming soon.
